Abstract

The article describes the features of the selection and development of illustrations for textbooks, teaching aids for the design and modeling of clothes. The expediency of the account of didactic requirements and psychological features of perception of visual information in the design of books on this discipline. Identified specific functions (selection zoom, its detailed measures, colors, background), author of the text in the creation of sketches and layout of the future textbook or teaching aid for the design and modeling of clothes.
