Sociocultural competence of pupils as a form of their productive activity (in the example of learning artistic culture).
Abstract
The article focuses of the relevant problem of modern educational and upbringing process, that is creating conditions pupils’ for productive activity basing on forming the sociocultural competence in the process of learning artistic culture. The relevance of setting this problem is highlighted. The problem is said to be connected with lack of social openness of education, lack of pupils’ understanding of the importance of its results. The notion of pupil’s productive activity is considered, that presupposes social importance of their education, expanding their personality potential. The notion of pupils’ socio-cultural competence is specified as one of the forms of productive activity. The basis for such activity is direction of sociocultural competence towards active use and transformation of gained knowledge in various expressive forms. These forms, percepted and experiences by a pupil in the process of learning artistic pieces, may provide positive interactive area, strive for constructive communication among participants of educational process. The peculiarities of artistic culture that encourage forming sociocultural competence with pupils are considered: emotional-sensuous impression, dialogue nature of artistic statement, symbolism, expression of artistic form. The role of symbolic nature of the artistic, which unites the rational and the intuitive, value and sense, meditativeness and activeness is emphasized. Culture science, sociology and psychology data are provided that highlight the generating role of artistic symbol for personal sociality, gaining the sense of completeness of life.
