THE ESSENCE AND STRUCTURE OF THE PROJECT CULTURE OF FUTURE GRAPHIC DESIGNERS
Abstract
The theoretical analysis of basic concepts concerning the formulation of the content of the concept of "project culture", its coverage of its essence and structure is made in the article. The author interprets the concept of "project culture of future graphic designers" as a complex socio-cultural and psychological-pedagogical phenomenon, covering the value attitude to the project activity, the desire for transformation of reality, the possession of professional knowledge and skills realized in the level of creative activity of the project activity, versatile ability for creative project thinking, ability to reflect personal achievements in project activity. The main characteristics of the project culture of future graphic designers determine the level of development of professional qualities of the designer, namely: the culture of creative and project thinking; theoretical knowledge and ownership of design-projecting tools and design methods; artistic skills for the ability to successfully develop and implement projects in the field of graphic design. The structure of the studied education is determined by the culture of thinking, intelligence, behavior, in particular regarding self-organization and self-improvement in the professional activity of the future designer. The content components of the project culture of designers include: professional skills, skills in their application in the design and solution of creative professional problems; ability to plan professional activities and forecast work results and present project developments. The project culture of future graphic designers is characterized by logical stages, qualitative characteristics of professional tasks and development of design projects, the highest degree of professionally significant qualities, high aesthetic culture and functional compliance of the design project.
