ARTISTIC AND PROJECT COMPETENCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGNER

Abstract

In the article author highlights need to introduce new trends in design education in the educational system of Ukrainian educational institutions. Considers the current challenges of design education of environmental designers and possible ways to overcome them. Analyzes the structure of the modern branch of design education. Conducts research on the modern use of the competency approach for the formation of specialists in environmental design, as well as the concept of competence in the scientific scientific literature. He analyzes the basic requirements for modern training of environmental designers, the peculiarities of their profession, and today's challenges in their training.

Explores the concept of artistic and design competence of the environment designer, its structure and components. Emphasizes the need to develop today's professional as a strong person who can independently master and analyze the large flow of information that needs to work with today's specialist. He also highlights the basic principles for the implementation of the concept of project competence in the modern educational system and identifies the main components of personality that should be formed to improve the training of future environmental designers in design education.

In conclusion, the author argues that the modern system of design education needs rapid and confident changes to improve the current training of design professionals. And artistic and project competence as a link between theoretical and practical knowledge of the future environmental designer is a way to achieve the introduction of modern methods and approaches to today's design education in Ukraine and will positively affect the training of future environmental design professionals.
