MULTICULTURAL APPROACH IN THE CONTEMPORARY ARTS EDUCATION: METHODOLOGICAL ASPECT

Abstract

This article describes the methodological guidelines implementing multicultural approach in contemporary art education. Culturological and multicultural approaches should be considered as a constant of the methodological basis of art education development – national education component aimed at relaying artistic traditions in the educational environment, training and education of personality, with considering the achievements of various arts. The crisis of the education prompted the scientists, educators to justify new fundamental educational ideas. The answer to enquiries of nowadays in united Europe is the conceptual basis of multicultural education, balanced with a variety of didactic that have historically been on the territories of the European countries. It is proved that in context of overcoming the axiocultural crisis the multicultural approach to arts education allows to join the artistic experience of the world theory and practice, facilitates the crystallization of scientific traditions of mastering different arts by mastering achievements of European, Slavic cultures. It was found that ideas of a multicultural approach that formed in a historical retrospective implement through axiological attitude to the artistic traditions of different peoples, content update of art education, the use of innovative forms and methods mastering the different kinds of art through the prism of national and international artistic heritage.
