SCRIBING AS ONE OF THE FORMS OF STUDENTS’ WORK DURING THE STUDY OF LITERATURE IN COLLEGES OF ART PROFILE

Abstract

The article highlights the results of the study of scribing as one of the forms of students’ work, which should be used during literature classes at the Art College. The meaning of the concept of «scribing» has been revealed; the peculiarities of teaching literature in Art Colleges are determined in accordance with the cognitive features of students, in particular: deeply developed visual memory, figurative thinking and creative abilities; the necessity and specificity of introduction in colleges of art profile of such form of work as scribing for memorization, preservation and reproduction of educational material in the Ukrainian language and literature are substantiated; The influence of the use of scribing on the quality of memorization of educational material on literature on the individual characteristics of students, in particular: facilitating the perception of educational information by students according to their cognitive characteristics, improving the level of memorization, increasing the accuracy of information reproduction, reducing the time required for memorization, increase of educational motivation, expansion of creative possibilities of students, development of figurative memory and thinking, development of cognitive interest of students to study language and literature; examples of the use of scribing in the practical activities of the Art Colleges have been introduced; the perspectives of using scribing as one of the forms of students' work during the study of literature have been determined.
